About Merzie Meadows Merzie Meadows was once a derelict Cottage, surrounded then by overgrown woodland and general neglect; a drive way in had to be recreated and a garden for the wildlife with conservation areas was gradually put into place over a period of twenty odd years. Our home was the first objective to be restored and the garden project gradually rippled outwards from the house. Today we welcome guests from all over the world, many of whom like to come back and visit us here in the Heart of Kent and to enjoy the luxurious comfort and peace that we can offer them. There are places to visit, historical homes, castles and wonderful gardens. famed for their beauty - almost too numerous to visit! Merzie Meadows has long been recognized as a nice place to stay and has accrued many awards, including two for excellence. Awards Merzie Meadows has won many awards, we are part of the AA Premier Collection, and are one of the few Bed and Breakfasts to receive an AA Highly Commended Five Yellow Stars Award, we can be found in the AA's Britains Best Bed and Breakfast Guide. Merzie Meadows was awarded a prestigious Little Gem award 2006 from the R.A.C, the last year it was awarded, for excellence. Merzie Meadows is also included in The Best Bed and Breakfast book.
